Sharing files/folders

WebClient! allows you to share files and folders securely with external users (if the Admin of your Virtual Site has granted you this capability). You can generate special links with optional password protection and expiration dates to control access.

Each shared-object link you create can specify granular access privileges, which regulate what the recipient can do with the shared content.

Common Questions about sharing objects

Is the expiration date mandatory?

Yes. You can set it as further away in time as needed, depending on how long you want the shared link to remain active, but you must specify an expiration date for security reasons.

What are Access Tokens?

The Access Tokens setting allows you to determine how many times the shared object link can be used before it becomes invalid. This helps in controlling and limiting access to shared content, enhancing security.

The ability to share files and folders is contingent upon the permissions set by your Virtual Site Admin.
