Local file-system functions

This section documents the SyncJS functions for interacting with the local file system. Here you'll find how to perform common operations such as listing directories, copying files, and more.

IMPORTANT

All functions in this section remain available in Syncplify Server! v7.x for backward compatibility. However, we strongly recommend switching to the newer and much more powerful Virtual File System (VFS) methods. VFS methods are not limited to the local file system—they provide unified access to all supported VFS types in the software.
