Certificates and Keys
Starting from version 6.0 (and subsequent minor and major releases) Syncplify Server! unifies the management of X.509 certificates and SSH host keys in this dedicated section. This centralized approach replaces multiple scattered configurations, making it easier to manage certificates and keys used throughout the software.
IMPORTANT
Syncplify Server! uses Server Name Indication (SNI) to intelligently select the best certificate for each client connection based on the requested hostname. There is no need—and no option—to manually associate certificates with hostnames. The server's SNI-based selection is automatic and avoids the mistakes that can occur with manual configuration.
